Craft 1861 is a national brand delivering a personalized and reliable experience to patients and customers along with exceptional service, value, and convenience. We are seeking a Director of Sales who is responsible for leading a team of Direct Sales Representatives in a high-volume B2B sales program. Responsible for providing expert mentorship within the healthcare industry's navigation of the health and wellness sector. Provides goal-oriented leadership to the sales team to facilitate the achievement of Craft 1861 Medical Provider Network’s mission and sales goals. Performs duties following Craft 1861’s established Core Values and Mission Statement.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Ensures sales budget goals are attained, including strategic partnership relationships and growth
  • Become an expert in CBD, health and wellness initiatives, benefits of preventative health supports, and resources for optimal human outcomes to be a trusted advisor to clinicians, patients, and wellness stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including sales operations, program VPs, product marketing, and management, to focus on developing and implementing sales effort processes
  • Develops understanding of Craft 1861’s MPN time and territory sales management system and standards and directs sales staff accordingly
  • Holds sales staff accountable for achieving sales calls, appointments, presentations, quotation standards, and overall improvement of closing ratios and maximization of strategic partnerships
  • Spends the majority of time in the field, coaching and counseling salespersons to improve performance according to time and territory sales standards
  • Set quarterly and annual sales goals and motivate the sales teams to achieve them. Identifying areas of improvement and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Uses management reports and trends to provide feedback to superiors on the progress of monthly sales efforts to help direct/change sales processes
  • Supervises sales coordination to ensure all necessary paperwork is properly routed to ensure timely revenue installation
  • Supervises sales support personnel to ensure they acquire prime prospects through established lead source systems and evaluate new sources
  • Develops and maintains a list of high-quality potential new hires for sales positions
  • Creates a vibrant, competitive, and supportive culture within the team where all team members focus on achieving success in their territory
  • Provides a structured training and development program for new and current staff to directly advise prospects and partners, present services, overcome objections, and provide consultation and recommendations to clients
  • Provides regular training for the entire sales force on a biweekly basis
  • Annually prepares a detailed sales and marketing plan to assess the sales department, current market conditions, competition, and activities necessary to achieve annual goals. Provides input on market trends and customer feature/product requests for new product development
  • Understands and agrees to abide by the brand standards, policies, and procedures established by Craft 1861
  • Maintains a positive and caring atmosphere for employees consistent with the company's Mission Statement, Position Statement, and Core Values
  • Conducts self in a professional manner, limits absences and tardiness, and follows the appropriate dress code by following Company policy
  • Performs additional duties as directed or assigned by the SVP of the Medical Provider Network

JOB REQUIREMENTS and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or an equivalent of adequate years of Sales Leadership within pharmaceuticals or medical sales
  • Excellent people leader, able to hire, inspire, hold accountable, and develop a team
  • 5+ years of experience in a new-business focused sales role
  • First-rate presentation skills both online and in person
  • Industry expertise/relationships in Talent Acquisition and growth of culture are strongly preferred in order to recruit and build an elite sales team
  • Proactive, initiative-taker, someone ready to roll up their sleeves and get things done
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques, is preferred
  • Proven experience in meeting/exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience with pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, nutraceuticals, or wellness products with a consultive methodology
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with internal teams and departments to move deals through pipelines
  • Skilled in understanding and capturing KPIs
  • Adaptable with the ability to pivot as needed and remain flexible with the ever-changing health and wellness industry
  • Knowledge and proficiency of CRM applications
  • Knowledge of PC and appropriate software applications
  • Must have current driver’s license and proof of liability insurance
  • Must be willing to submit and pass a comprehensive background check
  • Ability to travel as necessary

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks
  • Frequent sitting
  • Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally Twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends; May be requested to work additional time, as business demands require

Travel Requirements: Varies

Relocation is required to Albuquerque, New Mexico, but reconsidered based on qualifications by Craft 1861.
